Bait in Lake Superior

Please see
attached the final reports regarding VHS and use of
bait in the national park service for Lake Superior.
The Sleeping Bear Dunes is also now engaged in the
process and may be using these documents as well. The
first document is big and is the final report for the
committee. The other two are news released about
implimentation of the rule in Pictured Rocks. We have
not yet heard from Isle Royale NP on what they want
to do but suspect that they will request a "no bait"
regulation there as well. It turns out that the
authority for each park is different and depends on
the enabling legislation that created the park. Call
